Sarah joined the BBC fresh from the University of Birmingham in the mid Nineties and has spent the last ten years working on national news programmes. She developed her interest in education into a long running series for BBC Breakfast covering technical innovations in schools called “Future Schools”. She was then appointed Education Correspondent covering all aspects from nurseries to the HE sector. Having young children - including a 3 year who is more proficient on the iPad than she is - has she says given her a new insight into the importance of technology in the learning environment.
